'Agatha Christie's Miss Marple' (1984

Joan Hickson appeared in a stage adaption of Agatha Christie's novel Appointment with Death in 1946 which Christie saw. Later she sent this message to Joan saying 'I hope one day you will play my dear Miss Marple'. Nearly forty years later she got her wish with the production of this series of TV films.
